The best performace is achieved by using no more than the following using 1-1/2" ID hose: 2 stage vacuum motor - 15 ft. 3 stage vacuum motor - 25 ft. 4 stages of vacuum (2 - 2 stages) - 50 ft. 6 stages of vacuum (2 - 3 stages) - 75 ft. 8 stages of vacuum (4 - 2 stages) = 100 ft of 1-1/2" ID vac hose. 9 stages of vacuum (3 - 3 stages) = 125 ft When you use 2" vacuum hose, hose lenghts can be up to double these. When you use a power wands (Spinn Master, RX-20, PowerMate 1800, Rotovac, Rotovac 360,...), the hose lengths are cut in half. Here are some examples: 4 stages of vacuum with 1.5" hose and a power wand = 25 ft 8 stages of vacuum with 2" hose and a regular wand = 200 ft 6 stages of vacuum with 1.5" hose and power wand = 35 ft 6 stages of vaccum with 2" hose and a power wand = 75 ft 9 stages of vacuum with 2" hose and a regular wand = 250 ft 9 stages of vacuum with 1.5" hose and a power wand = 63 ft Testing was performed over a 20 year period cleaning over 20,000,000 sq ft of cleaning and testing. Question: With the truckmount I always used 2" hose up to the last 15' before my wand and went to 1.5".
The Sniper is 1.5" inside the machine, so at 70-75' of hose does a 50' section of 2" hose do me any good as far as reducing air friction or is the larger size more a hindrance on lift? Would I do better with 1.5" all the way for any reason? Thanks, Damon Answer: 2" hose does perform better than 1.5" ID hose except where the vacuum entrance port is only 1.5" ID on the face of the extractor. In order to benefit on using 2" vacuum hose you must have a 2" connector at the entrance of the machine. |

There are not many machines with 2 inch ports to get high performance use out of them... Can name a few or would it best to get a inline vac booster with 2 inch comming out 50 ft away from the wand , for those more afortable portables.

are standard on the Enterprise, all Mytee Speedster line, Goliath, KleenRite (some models), Cross American, MasterBlend truckforce line, and all gas powered truck mounted machines.
