great product, great quality, but do take the 220psi gimmick with a grain of salt.
-pros: works great for carpet cleaning extractor. great value performance wise compare to the shurflo's 150psi pump (in practice you gain at least 10% more psi than shurflo's, for only a 10% increase in price. good build quality compares to the shurflo's (painted head and bottom, washers with paddings, bigger and heavier motor).
-cons: the 220psi is only the peak/idle psi. Running the pump at 0.55gpm will drop it to 175psi. In practice, when you are running the pump at 0.67gpm, the psi is only about 157ish (which is about 12% higher than the competitor shurflo's 150psi pump at this 0.67gpm rate). Sure, when you run it at a full 0.84gpm its 130psi is a lot better than shurflo's by about 20%, but almost nobody cleans carpet at 0.84gpm rate.
summary: Good quality pump for the price, although do take the advertised psi with a grain of salt. I haven't used it long enough to test out its durability, but so far it works great and it's not made in Mexico. The peak amp of the pump is also 1.6A, not 1.2A as advertised (shouldnt be an issue if you were using a plunger/piston pump).
