For rotary or rotary extraction cleaning: 

• If dry soil retardant properties are desired from the Formula 161 carpet shampoo: Mix 8 oz (240 ml) of product with 1 gal (3.8L) of water. 

• If a high quality carpet shampoo with reduced dry soil retardants is desired: 

Mix 6 oz (180 ml) of product with 1 gal (3.8L) of water. 

For foam generating carpet cleaning machines:

Mix 10 oz (300 ml) of product with 1 gal (3.8L) of water
