Click On Customer Name to See Full Review: This product is Garbage. Debris gets caught and stops it from spinning. Paid almost $700 and it came in a plastic case that was cracked. Very dissapointed in it. BEWARE they have a 25% restocking fee fer for returns in form of store credit. plus you have to pay shipping to return. I will not ever buy anything from this company ever again. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Steambrite Answer: All shipping includes insurance to fix or replace items that have shipping damage. Please make sure you have signed for the shipping damage with the delivery driver, and then email the photo and invoice to have resolved. If you signed for the item in perfect shape and then try to make a shipping claim after the fact, most delivery companies will not pay is replace the broken part in question. Please inspect packages before you sign for them in perfect condition, rather notate the damage on the delivery receipt. Please note we did make you sign for this package in order to receive it.
Please note air duct cleaning equipment has requirements to be successful:
To be successful using this product, you need to have the correct vacuum and be using the tool on the correct air duct material and shape.
Example this tool states you need 200+ CFM, or at least 6 states of vacuum, or a truckmount. This means that some portables and shop vacs will not product enough vacuum to allow the item to spin with enough torque to work well. Please note this is a tool. A professional auto mechanic might love his adjustable Crescent wrench but I assure you this cannot be his only tool he uses to fix all cars with all different types of issues. The profession auto mechanic would have lots of different tools to use. Please note this tool works well for round duct under 10” diameter, that are made out of vinyl or metal. This tools does not work will in square and rectangular ducts or ones made out of fiberboard. The air duct cleaning professional would want to own an assortment of tools to find the one that best suits the job at hand.
Return policy: Please note we sell for hundreds of different factories and ALL OF THEM has a restocking fee and do not accept used equipment and only issue store credit against future purchase on returns of brand new equipment. There is not a single company we sell for that issue refunds or allows you to use a product and then return it after you finish the job. All new items include a full factory warranty against manufactures defects. Their are companies and individuals that will acquire large cleaning jobs, purchase new equipment, then once the job is complete, attempt to return the equipment to get their money back. Thereby attempting to have a free rental since they simply did not want to rent the required equipment in the first place. We nor any of our vendors offer free rentals and this is why you have to sign our return policy in order to check out on our website. The price you paid is based on the policy and agreement. If we offered free rentals and returns the prices would be way higher than they are now. The time to not agree to the price and return policy is before you do and not after the fact. Again this item includes a warranty against defects and includes shipping insurance. Using the tool incorrectly or using the wrong tool altogether is not a warrantable event.
In summary, since you signed for the item in perfect shape, and have not filed a warranty issue, I can only assume you did not follow the instructions on the website for the minimum requirement to use this one tool or were using the wrong tool for the wrong material or shape.
