Q. How hot can the water get? A. If you stop cleaning, the 1 quart heater tank under the hood will reach about 200 degrees F and turn itself off. At no point is the 10 gallon fresh water tank heated up. Once you pick up the cleaning wand and start cleaning again, the water will attempt to reach 200 degrees but as long as your using the water it will not reach that level of heat. Most cleaners using a standard 2 jet wand with a 2/3 time rinse stroke and 1/3 time dry stroke will achieve about a 20 degree rise up and above what water temperature was poured inside of the machine. This machine is designed to have hot water poured into the fresh water tank when possible. The pump seals can handle up to 140 degree water poured into the fresh water tank. The electric boosting heater is located after the water pump and just before the pressurized water leaves the machine so none of the super heated water ever touches any part of the machine that is not rated for this. 20 degrees F is enough temperature rise to change your water molecule vibration and cleaning results by a 100% improvement.
Q. What is the package advantages and disadvantages over some other systems? A. This package will let you pre-spray about 10 times faster than a pump up sprayer followed by letting you agitate and rinse, extract at the same time by use the Trex JR wand. This package includes dual 50 ft power cords so it is always easy to find 2 breakers. This package includes the speed crevice tool that lets you finish the job by picking up pet hair balls and dirt that is all around the perimeter. This package includes 50 ft of hoses which is 100% longer than other packages on the market so you spend less time relocating your machine. The ultimate system would let you have more vacuum to run longer hoses, wider Trex 15 wand (rinse 23% faster), more heat, with more vacuum and auto fill and dump. You would have to spend about double this package price though.
Q. What is the maximum cleaning distance with this system? A. Only 75 ft. This machine will clean out 150 ft with 2” id vacuum hose and a standard 12” wide 2 jet wand but this is not a standard wand and it is using 1.5” ID vacuum hose.
Q. Can this machine operate on dual 15 amp breakers? A. Yes, but you have to turn off the heater. The way this machine is wired is each of the power cords operate one 14 amp vacuum motor, then the heater operates on each power cord (each cord operates half the heater,) then the water pump that is only power cord with half the heater and 1 vacuum motor. But turning off the heater, the machine will operate on 14 amps for vacuum only and 15 amps for vacuum and water pump.
Q. Can this machine operate on just one outlet. A. Yes, you would only be able to turn on 1 vacuum motor, and water pump and ½ of the heater. Every home and business has multiple breakers so in reality you would never do this. I operated a 5 corded/ breaker machine for 20 years and never had a problem plugging it in.
