Description

Sporicidin Disinfectant is an EPA registered intermediate level disinfectant that delivers a broadspectrum kill that cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes. Sporicidin offers continuous bacteriostatic residual activity for up to 6 months, if not removed from the surface. Alcohol-free, Sporicidin Brand Disinfectant is compatible with plastics, treated wood, glass, and metals. Sporicidin is non-staining, non-abrasive, and non-corrosive. Sporicidin provides users with a product safely rated in the lowest EPA toxicity category. It offers users the most neutral pH of any phenolic based disinfectant.

Sporicidin Sterilizing Solution and Disinfectant solution have 510(k) acceptances from FDA. They are also registered by the Environmental Protection Agency as "hospital disinfectants". What is mold?
Molds are classified into 3 groups, microfungi, mushrooms and dry-rot fungi. Mold spores are analogous to plant seeds, and can remain dormant for years while withstanding extreme conditions. Whenever nutrients and moisture are present in sufficient amounts, spores germinate to form hyphae. Fungal growth continues as long as moisture is present.
